Shred Event Helps Hampton Roads Lose 4,600 Pounds

NEWPORT NEWS, VA — On August 24th, Hampton Roads residents shredded over 4,600 pounds of sensitive information during Shred Day hosted by Langley Federal Credit Union. The event was a fundraiser for Honor Flight Network. Donations totaled over $1,640.00 and will help LFCU reach its goal of raising $20,000 to fund the upcoming Honor Flight trip to Washington DC.
