NEWPORT NEWS, VA — Langley Federal Credit Union has named Ingo Huemer as Vice President of the newly created Risk Management Department. Huemer will manage a team comprised of staff auditors, information security officers, Bank Secrecy Act compliance officers and other security personnel.

"The department was created to provide better protection for our membership from the constantly evolving frauds and scams that exist in today's society," said LFCU President/CEO Jean Yokum. "Ingo's expertise and professionalism will be instrumental in his leadership of this department."

Huemer joined LFCU in 2005 as the Assistant Vice President of Audit. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and previously was a partner with Witt Mares, PLC.
